1 minute of hard exercise as good as 45-minute workout


Most people cite “lack of time” as the main reason for not being active. But that’s no longer a valid excuse for not getting in better shape.

According to a study published Tuesday in PLOS One, professor of kinesiology Martin Gibala and fellow researchers have shown that just one minute of go-for-broke exercising is as beneficial as a 45-minute moderate workout.
