Which states are the fittest and happiest?
Gallup, in partnership with the health consulting company Healthways, released its annual “State of American Well-Being” index Thursday. Taken from phone interviews with more than 177,000 Americans across the country, the data ranks states in five different well-being categories, including financial, social, purpose, community, and physical. The survey defines physical well-being as, “having good health and enough energy to get things done daily.”
