Brentwood, Tenn. (Aug. 13, 2015)- Swiftwick, a leading athletic
performance sock company, is excited toannounce the team has
renewed its focus on the cycling vertical and support of independent
bike dealers. To better support cyclists, Swiftwick has re-launched and improved their PERFORMANCE sock line.
The Swiftwick team has been part of the cycling community since their beginning, which took place on two wheels. The founders, who were riders themselves, envisioned a sock designed to excel at the demands of cycling. Their goal was to create a product that helped riders go faster, feel better and perform longer. The PERFORMANCE line launched to achieve these objectives.
“Being an avid cyclist, I have suffered long days in less than hospitable conditions, and the importance of socks cannot be underestimated,” said Grant Castle, Swiftwick’s national sales manager- bike. “I am proud to be part of a company that creates the best products on the planet. My feet appreciate that.”
Like all Swiftwick products, the PERFORMANCE line offers compression for a no slip fit that stays in place regardless of conditions throughout the entire ride. Swiftwick’s Managed Compression also offers support to limit muscle vibration and reduce fatigue. This line offers best in class moisture management to keep your feet dry and comfortable at a competitive price point. Moving forward, the PERFORMANCE will be produced with
seamless linked-toe technology, making it the perfect sock for any cyclist’s adventure.
“The PERFORMANCE has just enough compression to keep my feet and ankles from swelling during my long days in the saddle,“ said Jay Petervary, professional cyclist. “The durability and ability to retain their elasticity amazed me after I wore them everyday, all day, during the 2800 miles at the Tour Divide Race. That’s one sock for 14 days and still holding strong!”
Swiftwick has realigned their sales team to better support its valued independent bike dealers with a dedicated sales and support staff. The company has also engaged with distributors like QBP to provide more options for dealers. Representatives from dealers are also brought in to provide input on future product development.
