Clint Boston is a product of Golden, Colorado, where he first kicked off his running career by lettering in high school cross country and track. After his high school graduation, he served overseas as a combat-medic in the United States Army, and while stationed in Germany he ran cross country for the United States Army V Corp. He competed in 5K to 10-mile trail races, leading to an 8th place finish in the V Corp Europe Combat Cross Country Championship in 1987.
Clint now works as a social studies teacher and coach at Green Mountain High School, where he has coached cross country and track and field for over 20 years. He has taken the teams to numerous league and regional titles and many state appearances. He takes great pride in all the individual all-state, all-conference athletes and coaching accolades; however, one of his greatest accomplishments is coaching the 1999 and 2015 boys academic all-state cross country team.
When he’s not teaching or coaching, he is on his feet running. He has run for Runners Roost Road and/or Race Team from 1999 to the present and has been running for Runners Roost Lakewood Mountain Ultra Team for four years. He competes in distances from 5K to ultra and is proud to say he has run 29 ultra relays with his team, taking home three Ragnar Del Sol Ultra wins.
Clint has been a Swiftwick brand ambassador for many years. Swiftwick has been a part of many of his top finishes including the Bear Chase Trail Half Marathon, Fear the Deer Trail Half Marathon and the Canadian Death Race.
