I'm 6'1" and I love these socks, but the "12" is too long and the "7" is too short. A model "9" would be perfect.

Type II Diabetic and I have tried many different diabetic socks and they never fit right.Either they squeeze my toes or bunch up around my ankles and for someone with already poor leg circulation this is a constant irritation. With the Performance Twelve my toes are comfortable and I have not had the hose droop at all. I took off one star, and its not the socks fault at all, but the Twelve comes up 2 inches too far and leaves a welt around the back of my knee. I have a couple of pair of the Aspire Seven's and they are about 3 inches short. Do you have a support hose that is a Ten? I was going to try the Vision "Green Striped" Twelve to see if it fit any different, but it is marked limited and in XL seems to be out of stock again.Once I find the perfect length and compression from Swiftwick, I will stock up.

I used to be a long distance runner. I was struck by a drunk driver at 65MPH while running. I no longer need the socks for running but for better circulation and skin sensitivity.. I can tell you that I highly recommend Swiftwick socks because of the fit and compression for the reasons above. I also have diabetes and they help with that as well. I purchased various lengths and wear them depending on how I feel each day. It has created a TREMENDOUS improvement in my ability to stand and also to walk longer distances. I cannot thank Swiftwick enough for these products. Definitely give them a try if you are in doubt!.

I have been wearing these and ASPIRE's during workouts and runs 5 days a week for about a year and they've held up well. The calf cuff is indeed doubly thick and doesn't slide or slip no matter the movement. The compression is comfortable and does its job. Caring for them (as well for the ASPIRE) has been as easy as advertised. The overall condition is about as good as when they were new. Like the ASPIRE's, I feel like the compression and fit could improve if the socks were left/right foot specific. I would also like them to be a little more breathable in the foot.

I recently had to start wearing compression socks due to a medical condition. Lets face it, medical compression socks leave a bit to be desired. My wife loveingly refers to them as my "man hose". I do quite a bit of cycling on and off road. I really wanted a sock I could wear all day at work and not have to change them for my bike rides. Compression socks are not the easiet article to get on and off quickly. I was thrilled when I found the Swiftwick site. They work just as well if not better then the medical version. You do have to be careful of the sizing. Expect some trial and error. I used the size chart but my first pair of twelves were too small. No worries. I did expect that. I am in the process of replacing all my cotton socks because I don't always have to wear a full length compression sock. The ankle socks work very work well too. I am pleased I found these socks because I am on my feet alot at times. I do recommend at least trying them. They are worth the money, in my opinion anyway.

When I saw these socks on sale for $14.99 I couldn't believe it. I've had 2 pairs of these that I had bought over a year ago that I paid $50 for total because I knew they were worth it. When I saw these knee high compression socks on sale, I decided to buy a pair for my sons baseball team. They have been raving about them ever since. The recovery benefits from that much compression have been amazing. I swear they have made my son run faster since I got them for him, but I could be biased. :)
