Comments

These socks are perfect for chilly runs in the spring and fall. I always go thicker in the winter with the medium wool hiking socks. But these ensure warm, dry toes and no blisters. Fit perfectly with no awkward seams.

My first pair of Swiftwicks. Only had them a few weeks and they appear to be of a high quality wool fabric and well made. But, based upon the product description and some other reviews, I expected them to be slightly thicker. I have a narrow, low volume foot and need some extra cushion in my cycling shoes. I was hoping for something between the DeFeet Wooleator's (too thin) and the DeFeet Woolie Boolie's (too thick). These are very similar to the Wooleator's in thickness, but I do prefer the true black color over the dark gray of the DeFeet's.

Follow up to my earlier review. I continue to wish they were slightly thicker, but they are holding up well after steady use the last month and a half. Importantly, they still fit the same after quite a few washings. I do keep them out of the dryer. As a final comment, I think they have too many logos. Given their premium price they should be more understated. I don't mind the logo at the top of the cuff in the back and the 'Swiftwick' on top of the toe box. But the two logos on each side of the ankle are too much and they are half covered by my shoe; not a great look.

I was satisfied with the socks I was using, until I tried the PURSUIT Four socks. Now, I know about the quality of sock I could be wearing, I plan to buy more PURSUIT Four socks and replace all of my old socks. The fit is amazing. Once on, the sock "becomes part of my foot". Feels great!

These socks have a superb fit. Nothing worse than your sock moving around in your shoe when you're hiking. These truly stay put, and with no seams, are incredibly comfortable. My only beef is I am on the upper end of a size Small and wish I had bought a Medium. Still a five star sock.

I've been cycling for a few years now and last year, was the first year I started wearing your socks and I will never wear another sock again! Once you go swift you never go... back! :) They are the most comfortable sock I've worn and I love how they last and last. I have several pair now, and none have lost a bit of their compression in the year that I've been using them, and I ride approximately 200 miles a week, in all kinds of conditions. You have a customer for life!

A single pair of these socks kept my feet blister free for 6 out of 7 days while photographing the trekking section of the 2012 Patagonian Expedition Race through the Darwin Range in Tierra del Fuego. On the second to last day I switched socks because we had to scramble from our campsite in a hurry and I trekked in my "sleeping socks" (another brand) that were dry and debris free (at that time I thought, "maybe it's time to switch anyway). That section was probably one of the easiest and driest on the course and my feet got punished. Before that day I had zero issues with tender skin or hot spots. I switched back to my wet Swiftwicks and probably spared myself even more damage. Just FYI, I was wearing Brooks Cascadia 7's... a great product in their own right.
