Ride for Reading combines cycling and literacy

Swiftwick proudly announced their partnership for Ride for Reading Week in 2016. This partnership has nurtured a love for cycling and volunteering internally.

“It has been inspiring to watch Ride for Reading grow from its inception here in Nashville to a national organization,” said Chuck Smith, president of Swiftwick. “When you read the statistics and then see the response from the kids, you understand how important their mission is to the long-term success of our communities. We are proud to partner with them.”

But it’s what the organization does for the communities that really takes it to a new level.

Ride for Reading promotes literacy and healthy living among kids living in low-income communities by delivering age-appropriate books via bicycle.
