Fit Studio’s Amanda Foland (and Swiftwick ambassador!) shared a blog about the beautiful green fruit and how it is beneficial to health and weight loss. Not only can they help with weight loss, but they can contribute to reducing arthritis, reduce cholesterol levels, lower blood triglycerides and increase HDL (the “good”) cholesterol. They contain more potassium than bananas and are full of nutrients such as vitamin K, Folate, Vitamin C, Potassium, vitamin B5, vitamin B6, Vitamin E, and more. They are abundant in heart-healthy monounsaturated fatty acids and fiber.
On top of all of that, they taste delicious, and you can go with all different types of foods. You can make guacamole, put in in your salad, make a smoothie, avocado fries, or just grill them and put some dressing on top.
