Have you seen the 2017 Boston Marathon cut off?

By September 28, 2016Run

Qualifying for the Boston Marathon is no joke! Just getting qualified is half the battle, but here is some news for 2017 that may bring some joy to your ears:

Runner’s World states:

The time standard is more lenient for 2017 than it was for the 2016 race, which required entrants to run 2:28 faster than their age group qualifying times. However, the time cut-off is still more than double that of 2015, which required times of 1:02 or faster than the qualifying time. (The Boston Marathon’s registration policies allow the fastest runners relative to the qualifying standards for their age and sex to register first, which means the cut-off changes from year to year.)
