By August 21, 2015Spotlight

Here at Swiftwick, we have the privilege of helping athletes do what moves them. We have a lot of awesome athletes doing awesome things, and we want to share these accomplishments with the world!

Here are this week’s spotlighted athletes.

Starting tonight, ultrarunner Max King will take on the UltraVasan 90k! This historic race follows the same course as the world’s oldest and largest Nordic ski race.

Follow Max in the UltraVasan live on iRunFar’s Twitter!

Coming up, Max will take on The Rut 50K, the Warrior Dash Portland, and the Flagstaff Sky Race.

Visit Max on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram for more of his ultrarunning adventures.

York Thomas

Runner York Thomas and his wife and took a trip to Winnipeg, MB this past weekend to see the city and run The North Face Try a Trail 7K (which really ended up as an 8.5K). York won the race, and his wife was the first female and second overall.

Unfortunately, the photographer at the race was unable to get a picture of him finishing because she didn’t think he would be done so quickly! So she snapped a picture right after he crossed the line.

Mike Hermanson

Triathlete Mike Hermanson of Maverick Multisport took the podium in the pro category at the Pigman 70.3 this past weekend! Talk about bringing home the bacon!

Kiel Reijnen

Cyclist Kiel Reijnen of the UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling team took the victory in stage 3 of the USA Pro Challenge. Go, Kiel!

Jemila Najjar-Keith

Triathlete Jemila Najjar-Keith took the podium at Challenge Family Americas Poconos this weekend! She also took on a 10,720 feet summit, just for fun. Talk about doing what moves you!
